I am a single user, not on a network, and thought the personal version was all I would need. However from reading this forum, it appears that duplicates and does not update OUtlook from Access.

My intent was to enter the data or import it in Access and keep it updated in Outlook. I have many custom fields in Outlook.

Is this not possible with the personal version?

It is possible with the private version.
The problems with duplicates are custom-form related.
So if you are not using custom-forms or your custom form is correctly published etc. it will work.

The private version does not support deleting contact items from Outlook when deleted from the database (Multi user version).
