Hello,

trying to Sync ("Store all" - to SQL) and getting:

Error Item: "name of the Calendar entry"
and then
Unknown Error 0xA7204005

It is always the same Calendar entry that forces this error
but i cannot see any difference to other entrys.

So, before i delete this one, maybee you have an Idea what
the Problem could be...

Thanks.

Hello,

this sounds like Outlook does not recognize one or more names (Attendees).
Is it possible the item contains an invalid email address?

You can you download this tool:
http://www.geniusconnect...es/Otherproducts/2/4/62/

And try to find out what is the difference/corruption causing the error?

Hi, before i try that, i have found a Errormessage on the Exchange Server that matches with the Time on the Client.
Please take a Look at Eventid.net for Details:

http://www.eventid.net/display....MSExchangeIS&phase=1

At this Time the Value is 250 Connections.
So i have to raise the Value to avoid the Error but Calendar Entrys
will growing so this Error can come again.

Is there a another way ?
For Example "sync only 250 Items per session"

Thanks

Oh, i forgot:

The Error happens only in "no caching mode (Exchange)".

Hi,

please don't use "caching mode" on Outlook installations with GeniusConnect!

"Is there a another way For Example "sync only 250 Items per session"
No, but GeniusConnect closes every Item after the item has been synced, we do not keet them open!

Please read also this topic if you are using scripting:

According to Microsoft Support, this is a new feature in Exchange 2003 to help prevent any one client from acting "abnormally" and adversely affecting the performance of the server. The recommended fix was to modify the registry to raise the threshold for each one of the object types mentioned in the error message.

Create the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem\MaxObjsPerMapiSession. Then create a new DWORD value for each object name appearing in the error (for example, “objtMessageView”), and set the desired value.

Okay. Now it works fine.
