I just installed the program and clicked on the DATABASE tab. It immediatly starts reading all of my folders and includes Public Folders. My companies public folders are extensive and our connection to exchange is a bit slow so it hangs everytime and I must ENDTASK on Outlook 2003. Is there a way to stop it from even looking at public folders and just use private folders?

no, right now GeniusConnect is scanning all folders. If your connection is slow it can take some time. We will add some break functionality in next version.

I actually was able to set my Outlook to OFFLINE and then GeniusConnect doesn't even try to go to those folders. This allowed me to configure it.

It would be nice if you just added an option to skip those folders altogether. That way I would never need to wait.

there is also a help menu "Slow Scan Helper" : On Database tab Select a folder and click More Actions button or Right Click a Folder to activate context menu functions, more info..
