Hi Admin,

I want to use outlook for my salesforce to manage a shared set of contacts (CRM) that are maintained in a SQL DB that is also used for our business system.

I think if one salesman updates a contact's phone number, then does a sync it will update the DB. However, if the next salesman does a sync with the old phone number, the correct phone number will be overwritten.

Does the multi-user work around this? If so, how? Does it use timestamps?
