Hi

I get the following error: "Dynamic param error:MAPIItems:Can't open MAPI MsgStore.MAPI Error: Component MAPI 1.0 Error The information store could not be opened. LowLevelError 0 Context 649"

The user running the dedicated sync. has reade/write rights to all Outlook calenders.

GeniusConnect 4.0.0.2SP3 (Same error on 4.0.0.2)
Exchange 2003 6.5.7638.2 SP2
Outlook version 2003 11.0.0.8169
Running Windows XP SP2 on MS Virtuel Server 2005R2

this error occurs when GeniusConnect (MAPI) can't connect to Exchange Message Store.

Are you running in cached mode?
Are you runnig Outlook on the same Computer as Exchange?
(Microsoft does not support installing Exchange Server components and Outlook on the same computer

Please update your Outlook, latest version is (11.8169.8172)SP3

Outlook is version 11.8169.8172 SP3 (the other version 11.0.0.8169 was read from the GC plugin under "About & Contact Info")
There is no cached mode
GC is running on windows XP and therfore not running Exchange

Error is still present :-(
After a closing and reopening of Outlook it runs fine for a while?

So it is runing a while without errors? This is strange.
The problem is somewhere between Outlook and Exchange when GeniusConnect connects to Message store.
How stable is your network ?


can you try to run it without MS Virtuel Server 2005R2?
