Hi, here is my setup.
I have Outlook 2003 connected to Exchange server and getting data from SQL server and I am using your Demo version. I have your Genius Connect setup for my Contacts Only, and I am succesful with 'Load All' and 'Store All' meaning I can bring in and send data out great.

But here is my problem, after I do a 'Load All' within about 10 seconds Outlook connects to Exchange and then deletes everything that was brought in from the 'Load All'

any help would be appreciated.

Are you using Offline option with MS Exchange? If Outlook fails to sync the data to exchange it will delete it.
Try the same with the Offline OFF.

Thanks for the quick response.
Ok did what you said and when the Outlook status is 'Connected' it deletes as I mentioned after about 10 seconds of doing a 'Load All'. When I set Outlook to 'Work Offline' and do a 'Load All' the data is loaded and stays in Outlook, no deleting. So I would assume that I go go back to 'Connected' status however when I do everything that was brought in from the 'Load All' gets deleted again. So you said if Outlook fails to sync to exchange it deletes it, now I am wondering what I am doing wrong. Could it be possible incorrect field linking? I just don't know, I have gone threw all the settings and they all look correct.....thanks for you help.

Hi,

I think you are doing nothing wrong, this is a MS Exchange/Outlook problem.
If you are using Outlook 2003, UNCHECK the "Use Cached Exchange Mode" checkbox.

We do NOT recommend "Cached Exchange Mode" for use with GeniusConnect.

You fixed it! Thanks
I disabled, unchecked, cached mode and now it does not delete the data brought in from the 'Load All'
Your support is great! I will be making a purchase.
