When I try and ASSIGN TABLE it crashes with

MariaDB ODBC driver maodbc.dll unexpected error

I am using MariaDB. Could it be a Table data types that can’t be sync’d?

catalog functions in MariaDB ODBC driver are broken, please use MySQL ODBC driver 5.3 version (version 5.3.14 has been tested and works), MySQL Drivers...

Please note: working of ODBC drivers may depend on your MariaDB Server version, the problem above occurred on:
MariaDB server version: 10.1.41
MariaDB ODBC driver version: 3.1.13 and 3.1.14
