Hello,

I have made a setup simlar to the "Multiple MS Exchange accounts Sync 2 way contacts ver2.pdf" demo.

When I have added the extra mailboxes in GC and open the calendars I can create normal appointsments and everything works fine. However, when I create a private appointment it appears with the subject "Private Appointment", which is fine since I don't want the real subject put into my SQL DB, but GC ignores the appointment even tho the "Sync only non-private items" flag is off.

Is it possible to make GC sync the private appointments, or will I have to delegate permission to view the appointments and change the subject on sync?

Thank you.

This must be a bug in GeniusConnect, can you go to Assign Table Dialog and resave the settings:
Assign Table->Options->OK->OK

I was testing the Private flag On/Off and I'm not able to reproduce the problem.
Did you change/save the setting on all folders? (You can also use copy profile button)

Why are you getting 'subject "Private Appointment"?
GeniusConnect is not changing value of the subject line when item is private, this must be something else.

Can you send us screen shot of the Error? If GeniusConnect is ignoring a Private item it will show a warning in Progress log:
"Item ignored because it is private:... "

If i put on the ignore private flag it works as you descibe. The process log says:
"Item not loaded because it is private:Very Secret Appointment"
"Sucessfully loaded 0 items(0 upd, 0 ins, 0 unchd)"

If i remove the flag, i just get:
"Loading items"
"Sucessfully loaded 0 items(0 upd, 0 ins, 0 unchd)"

What i find odd is that in Outlook the appointment is displayed as "Private appointment" but GeniusConnect is able to detect the name when ignoring it (only sync non-private).

What i did to resave was, assign table -> options -> flag "Only sync non-private) -> OK -> OK -> OK. Let it run thru the sync and remote the flag the same way. I did that to all the calendars i run this test on(2).

Can you activate the log: GeniusConnect->Options->Log Directory

Run it with and without the flag (on a folder with all permissions) and send us (TechSupport AT geniusconnect.com )the log file?

Please send us also your mappings (Assign Table -> export)
