Hi,

we have some Errors in the Sync Protocol.
Those happens always on "Load All".

For Example:

WARNING:20080819 11:57:39 ModificationTime Conflict Item

"Item Text"

Outlook overrules Database changes.
ERROR:20080819 11:58:10 Database call:
UPDATE "dbo"."Calendar" SET "gc_Unread"='N',"gc_LastModificationTime"={ts '2008-07-23 16:53:17'} WHERE "gc_id"='F4F9304F-FF1A-40E4-A7FE-BAFABEEA8592'

S1T00 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout abgelaufen (0)

Any Ideas where i can start searching for a Solution ?

Thanks !

best regards
Danny

This is not an error, but warning about Modification Time Conflict.

When Conflict resolution is ON, GeniusConnect compares data based on LastModifiaction.
Assign Table->Options->Advanced

Conflict Resolution is on. (newest wins)
But shouldn´t the UPDATE Statement work so that this "Warning" will not come again on this Item ?
The Timeout says that the Update is not done.

When you get time out, update fails, so same conflict occurs on next Load

On what? the Timeout ? You have to check your database/datamodel. You table can be locked?

I don´t think that there is a general Problem.
Insert and Delete works fine.
(And Updates too)

Update:
I did some tests...

Press "Load All" gives on some Items the Timeout error. (every Time i use Load All those Items have this error.)

Now i open one of those Items in Outlook for some changes.
GeniusConnect see the change (Autosave on Outlook change is ON) AND Update the Database Record without any error.
This is exactly what it should do on "Load All".

So is this a Bug or is something wrong here ?

Thanks again.

There is no known bug related to timeouts, what is your time out setting?

Timeout was set to 30 Seconds. I have increased it to 60 Seconds but this doesn´t help...
